Mental Health And Wellbeing Training

Mental Health And Wellbeing in Sport and Physical Activity

It's widely recognised that sport and physical activity not only impacts our physical health, but our mental health too, as set out in The Mental Health Charter for Sport and Recreation

At Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire, we also recognise the roles that the deliverers and coaches play, and the positive impacts they too can have on improving the wellbeing of others. We want empower the workforce to understand the positive impacts sport can have on mental health and wellbeing by offering opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills required to assist them in their roles. In this section we will share courses, resources, and development opportunities.
