Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work
This course is aimed anyone involved in sport, physical activity that may need to administer emergency first aid. It is also suitable for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities. This course will take place on Saturday 7th December 24, from 9:30am - 4:30pm. This will take place at The Royal College for the Blind (The Point 4 Centre), Venns Lane, Hereford, HR1 1DT. This course is for people aged 18+ (age at the time of the course).

Course details:
This course will take place on Saturday 7th December 2024, 9:30am - 16:30pm.
The final deadline for bookings is 3pm on Friday 29th November 2024.

Course cost:
Standard ticket: £95.00 -If you do not meet the subsidised criteria below
Subsidised Ticket: £30.00 Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire are partially subsidising the cost of this course as an investment in people within the region who are either working in the sporting industry or want to enter the sporting industry and require this essential qualification to do so.
Eligibility for the subsidised ticket:
Participants are asked to declare that they are either employed, voluntary, or trainee role that they consider positively impacts individuals in the community (within Herefordshire and Worcestershire), to benefit their health and wellbeing.
To qualify for the subsidy you must be based within Herefordshire and Worcestershire and working to:
> Improve physical activity and tackling inequalities
> Improve outcomes within communities with high levels of deprivation
> Supporting individuals with physical or mental health challenges

Course information:
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is an Ofqual regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

Certification:
A three year qualification will be issued to those who meet the criteria of the practical assessment that will be carried out by the instructor.
The HSE strongly recommends that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of three hours.
