About Worcester City Women Football Club
WCWFC is more than just a football club - it's a community dedicated to empowering women, driving social impact, nurturing talent, and promoting sustainability. Whether you're a player, a sponsor, or a member of the local community, being part of 'La Familia' at WCWFC means being part of a purposeful journey towards a brighter, inclusive, and successful future in women's football.
Besides being a female owned women's football club, we also find it very important to be present in our community, so we run different community initiatives. The goal of our community projects is to use football to improve both physical and mental well-being by creating a welcoming community through inclusive football sessions across multiple programmes.
One of those programmes is Kick & Mix which is a 5/6/7 - a side, adults mixed football in your local community. We welcome anyone and all abilities to play some fun, competitive football on a Friday night. Are you an individual looking to get into football and do you and your mates want to play some fun, social football on a Friday night? Perhaps you are new to Worcester and want to meet new people? No matter who you are or where you come from Kick & Mix welcomes you to Friday nights at the brand new 3G at Perdiswell Leisure Centre! WCWFC is committed to providing opportunities for the local community to engage in the beautiful game in a variety of different ways. Kick & Mix provides a new football initiative for both genders to keep fit and enjoy playing football socially.
Besides running Kick & Mix, we also have a women-only football session on Saturday mornings, called Kick & Connect. Kick & Connect offers a welcoming and supportive environment for women aged 24 and above to enjoy low-cost, non-competitive football focused on fun, fitness, and social connection. Participants of all experience levels can develop their skills, rediscover their passion for the game, and build new friendships in an encouraging atmosphere designed to improve physical health and foster a sense of community.
