Situated in Hereford City. WHPC play at Hinton FC's grounds opposite the Waterworks Museum, Broomy Hill. Our floodlit facility enables competition in local/regional/national competitions plus social/friendly play. Affiliated to NGB, Pétanque England, we

West Hereford Pétanque Club was originally established in 1992 at the New Inn, Staunton-on-Wye and is a founder member of the Marches Pétanque League which is still the main competitive Pétanque league in the area.

The club was renamed in approximately 2004 but re-constituted in 2022. WHPC provides social and competitive play to all its members so that they can play at whatever level and frequency they wish. Pétanque is open to people of all ages, sex, race, religion, colour, politics.

Our affiliation to our sport's NGB "Pétanque England" ensures that we carry the appropriate governance policies and insurances and gives all members the opportunity to play against and learn from "the best" players in the UK as well as their local club mates.

New members are always welcome.
