About The Core Skate Hereford CIC

The Core was open in August 2014 providing a community need for a permanent roller skating rink in Hereford. As well as professionally delivered Roller skating sessions, The Core is also home to a number of alternative sports and activities.

The Core was opened in August 2014 in answer to the community need for a roller skating and alternative community sports and activity hall. Roller skating has been a popular exercise and fun activity for all in Herefordshire since 2010 when Herefordshire Roller Skating Club (HRSC) was started;

Run by volunteers of the community for the community. Offering a social and active place to participate in community events and put ideas for projects into practice.

Our mission is to provide a community sports facility in Hereford which promotes health, well being, fitness and social inclusion through the sometimes artistic, always aerobic, competitive and all inclusive sport of roller skating.
