Activity Information
Roundhouse Birmingham, with funding from Birmingham City Council and in partnership with Run of a Kind, are setting up a regular walking group to help Ladywood residents aged 50+ to get more active whilst learning more about the spaces and places in our local area. The aim of our active groups is to encourage an active lifestyle, reinforcing the importance of being and staying active, especially as we age. We’re keen for this to be a social experience and want to hear about the areas in Ladywood that mean something to you. We hope to collaborate these into a new walking routes that will be free for anyone to use. Anyone who is interested in getting involved is very welcome, but we’re particularly interested in hearing from those who are from or live in Ladywood and are aged 50+. The group will run every Tuesday starting at the Roundhouse, 1:30 – 3:30pm.
